Attendees include cross-functional leaders spanning all parts of the value chain. Currently we are 40% pharma, 20% biotech, 25% solution providers, 10% other (e.g. medtech, diagnostics) and 5% startup.
Integrated evidence generation plan based on gap analysis, prioritization and feasibility. Development of a robust evidence package sufficient for payers and other stakeholders influencing access.

Our history
Pulse Network was founded in 2020 as a small, cross-functional life sciences group to facilitate networking and collaboration among professionals in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries in Paris region.
Initially created as a means to assess the “pulse” of the industry, the network quickly gained traction due to its intimate and interactive format, bringing together thought leaders from across biopharma, biotech, and healthtech sectors. As demand for such a space grew, Pulse evolved into a thriving, global community. The network has continued to expand through a series of in-person and virtual events.
Pulse Network now serves as a vital platform for life science professionals, fostering innovation and collaboration through its growing, open-minded international community.

Hannah Kurth, MSc
Hannah Kurth, Founder and President of Pulse Network, is an economist and entrepreneur with over two decades of leadership in global and European life science organizations. Hannah is also the Founder of Pulse Edge, a consultancy that partners with biopharma and healthtech organizations to navigate the complex road to revenue generation.
Known for her ambitious, strategic, and committed approach, Hannah drives impact with an open and collaborative mindset, making her a valued partner in the industry.
A dual national (American/French), Hannah currently resides in Paris, France.

Patricia Machado, PhD, eMBA
Patricia is an experienced leader with extensive expertise in neuroscience research and drug discovery within both biopharmaceutical and academic settings. Currently, she serves as Early Drug Development and Pipeline Director at Cilcare as well as an Independent Consultant, providing strategic advisory services in drug discovery and development. Patricia has a strong background in leading R&D teams, at Pfizer and Servier, where she held various leadership roles, including Head of Cell Research.
Patricia is known for her strong strategic vision, and her exceptional ability to forge and manage strategic collaborations, significantly contributing to successful drug discovery projects. She combines her scientific expertise with excellent strategic and communication skills, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and the successful delivery of project goals.

Alexandra Silvain, MSc
Alexandra Silvain is a biotech engineer with a degree in marketing management and digital from ESSEC business school.
Alexandra has professional experiences spanning digital transformation, strategic marketing, scientific valorization and product development, specialized in the health and pharmaceutical industry.
As a consultant at Capgemini and Veeva, she drove projects to improve marketing and commercial capabilities through better usage of digital and data efficiency. She focuses on AI in the healthcare industry and is a writer for biohacking and longevity topics.
She is French living in Paris, bilingual in French and English.
